Hillside Hosts ”2008 Mother’s Day Remembrance Service”

Now this would be a great idea for a removal service that also has hearse or livery services. You could do something similar at your local cemetery. It doesn’t have to be a special memorial service, but you could provide well dressed individuals at the cemetery entrance, handing out candles, note cards with your livery service logo and contact information tastefully printed on them and maybe even silk roses that you can get in bulk on line. Just be sure to brand it, but not overtly. Let me know if you need a logo, and I can create one for you.

It’s always good form to honor MOM, and while this article is on a service specifically for those of the Jewish faith, something similar could be done that is more non-specific or ecumenical in nature, “Remembering Mom”. Get your face out there so they associate all aspects of the funeral industry with your business. If you do a good job, the funeral homes won’t mind, because you are an extension of them. You look good, they look good.

It doesn’t make sense to do only removals to make a profit. Hearse services, body donation transport, body parts transport, casket delivery and even crime scene cleanup are natural extensions of your removal service.
