11 vie for 2008 Miss Clark County title
Eleven young women will be competing for the title of Miss Clark County this year.
Miss Clark County is the official hostess of the Clark County 4-H Fair which is July 12-19, and then represents Clark County in the Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant Aug. 15-17 in Indianapolis.
The competition is based on three levels of participation: private interview with the judges in the afternoon and the professional wear and evening gown at the public pageant in the evening.
Kelsey Abbott, 2007 Fair Queen will crown Miss Clark County 2008 on Thursday at 7 p.m. The pageant will be held at Silver Creek High School Auditorium. The public is invited to attend. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children under 12.

Whitney Leann Zollman
Whitney Leann Zollman is 19 years old and a sophomore at Indiana University Southeast. Her parents are Kevin and Teresa Zollman. She is sponsored by at B & G Mortuary Service and Transportation in Charlestown.
